 | Happy Spring, Dexter Day Camp fans,
We are currently preparing for another great summer in 2013. Counselors have begun to discuss the exciting new ideas for the coming season. Even though we have a few months ahead of us, we can tell that the sun will soon be warming up Mt. Walley and you’ll be back at camp before you know it. Remember to register for your favorite weeks of camp ASAP!! We are really looking forward to seeing you at the flagpole this summer! Along with many of our returning counselors, Mr. Tilton is already talking about winning back the “Tilton Trophy” in our annual Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament.

Junior Camp
Children who are at least 3 by the previous December 1st and are entering nursery school or kindergarten are placed in the Junior Camp. Children ages 3 and a half through 6 and a half are in this camp. The program is specifically designed to meet the needs of the very young camper. The children enjoy crafts, art, shop, nature, music and a daily swimming lesson. In addition, there are regular intervals of supervised free play and a daily rest period.
Middle and Upper Camp
Older campers are grouped primarily by grade level, from current grades K2 through 6. Groups spend most of the day together. Each group develops its own sense of unity, and most campers find that their closest camp friends come from within their group.
