On Friday, April 20, Dexter and Southfield’s eighth grade classes presented a check for $1,800 to a representative from the Jimmy Fund. The representative provided a history of the Jimmy Fund and told the students how their donations would be used. The funds were raised in conjunction with the Red Sox themed dress-down day the previous week, and faculty and students across all classes gave generously. Today, Class 8 took a surprise field trip to Fenway for a tour of the park. Congratulations to everyone who participated in this successful fundraising effort and especially to Class 8 for their hard work and dedication.
