Southfield celebrated its 20^th Anniversary on May 18-19 with a gala dinner for 300 and a family festival for the entire community. Highlights from the evening included inspiring words from keynote speaker Dr. Connie Chow, a leader in science education for girls, and the premiere of Southfield’s anniversary video, “Celebrating Southfield: Educating Girls and Young Women for Twenty Years.” Susie Wilson ’00, Chair of the Southfield Women’s Association, was the gala’s MC. Saturday’s festival featured activities for the whole family, including field games, face-painting, cupcake decorating, a Southfield Varsity Lacrosse game, and a barbecue. Thanks to all our volunteers, and we look forward to the next twenty years at Southfield!
